Yuyo Preview Pop Up Dinner
On Tuesday March 7, Chef Christopher Camacho will present a 4-course Peruvian dinner for El Chile Group's forthcoming restaurant, Yuyo. Each ticket is $65 and includes four courses, four pairings, tax, and gratuity. The dinner will be hosted by brother restaurant, El Chile Café y Cantina (1809 Manor Road) and will begin promptly at 7:30PM. Each dinner features a distinct menu from the previous pop-ups. Eighteen guests will enjoy a narrative from the Yuyo team; Maribel Rivero and Executive Chef Camacho. Dinner starts off with our Lima Gin & Tonic carefully poured and stirred by Bryan Gonzales. Yuyo showcases signature dishes that combine the exciting and complex flavors of Peruvian cuisine with fresh Gulf seafood and local ingredients. Chef Christopher Camacho boasts twenty years of experience in delighting patrons with various styles of Latin cuisine. He is Latin through and through! With a special emphasis on Peruvian seafood, he honed his skills at Nobu Restaurant, the first Peruvian restaurant to extend beyond the bounds of Peru and become known worldwide. Camacho was also a chef at Ola Restaurant in Miami, and was featured on the Food Network. With his wife and two girls, he moved to Austin from Miami and brought the pulse of the Latin community with him!
