Outstanding in the Field at Bobolink Dairy Popular
Chefs in a field. Beer, fire and meat. The OITF kitchen is often a whole gang of chef friends. Mike and Bradley and Will. Tasks will be shared and the feast is a collaboration. A little OITF history: In 2003, farmer Jonathan White of Bobolink Dairy was part of the first Outstanding in the Field event outside California. We enjoyed several kinds of Bobolink cheeses and Jonathan was able to speak about his work. The guest chefs that afternoon were Dan Barber and Michael Anthony of Blue Hill in NYC. The event location was a yet-to-be planted field at the not-yet open Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Pocantico Hills, NY. It was the 19th OITF event, one stop on the way to 700+. After all this time we are excited to come out to Jonathan’s Bobolink Dairy and set the table at his place!
